PICTURESQUE always gives all students of ABESEC an opportunity irrespective of their photography equipment, affiliations or experience. It is the only platform that provides students to be a part of all events happening in the college. Photography Club of our college is a platform to bring together the likeminded people and share knowledge about the art and science of Photography. The club encourages students to study light and imparts tips on composition. The club organizes activities that give a chance to learn photography, utilize their camera to the fullest and become sensitized to the world around.
The mission of the PICTURESQUE Club is to provide a supportive environment for interested photography students to share their creativity; knowledge and passion for photography. The club will be held regular meeting and discussions and organize events such as Photo session, Event Shoot and Photo walk etc. The members will also explore the possible opportunities for photography projects in collaboration with various departments and in school the peer to peer portfolio reviews and explores the possibilities of field trio visit, to impart the students about the knowledge and art of Photography and Videography.
Every year, in month of August, the Club circulates the volunteer forms for the new members. Similarly, a separate form for becoming a team member is floated. Club faculty team invites all the students who give consent for the team members on various positions and conducts an interview session. Based on the interview, judges nominate the club team for the next session. The nomination of the club team is with the consent of previous club student head, secretory and joint secretory.
