About Club

OBJECTIVE

Minerva’s aim is to provide a platform to the students to showcase their creative side, enhance their social skills and to embed a professional behaviour in them.

Few main objectives of the club can be summarized as follows:

Faculty has been immensely supportive throughout all the events of the society. From guiding students to helping them in any possible manner, they’ve made many events possible.

How to become a club member?

Every year, in month of August, the Club circulates the volunteer forms for the new members. Similarly, a separate form for becoming a team member is floated. Club faculty team invites all the students who give consent for the team members on various positions and conducts an interview session. Based on the interview, judges nominate the club team for the next session. The nomination of the club team is with the consent of previous club student head, secretory and joint secretory.

Major Events

FTHE PREP-UP CHALLENGE

This event is conducted in order to make the students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year aware of the placement scenario in the real world and to provide hands on experience on Aptitude, Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds of a placement drive.

EXPRESS-O-MANIA

This event is conducted to make students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year aware of business scenario in the real world and to give them the hands on experience on social skills.

FOUNDATION DAY

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, yet it did not fall because it had its foundation on the rock." ( Mathew 7:25 from the Holy Bible). A house is where a family resides and like every family, this family has been used to its fair share of troubles and tribulations along the way but our foundation was and has been rock solid which has been keeping us strong together.

RAVAGING PSYCHOLOGY OF THE SOCIETY ON A WOMAN

Minerva-The Literary Society is all set to electrify you with its online event "Ravaging psychology of the society on a woman".

Now it's time to fasten your seatbelts, summon your courage, clear your thoughts, turn your words into artillery, wisdom into the ultimate weapon, and express your concern against the social unjust.

The event will be conducted in three rounds:

Round 1: Mentality Check

• Participant need to prepare an utmost 5-minute video affirming their views on the topic "Ravaging Psychology of the Society on a Woman"
• Pull up your socks and Send your entries before the noon of 30/October/2020.

Round 2: Group Discussion

• The participants in this round need to spin their views around a given topic and support their argument.
• TheThis round will be held live on MS Teams on 31/October/2020, 4 pm onwards.

Round 3: Tackle the Battle

• This round will be more like a spontaneous test where a psychological situation will be given to the selected participants via WhatsApp groups and they need to develop a response to it.
• This round would be held live on MS Teams on 1/November/2020, 2 pm onwards.
• Deep and Appropriate thoughts
• Perspective Ability
• Quality of the Content is the parameters of judgement. There would be exciting prizes for the winners.
