Since its inception, MINERVA-The Literary Society of ABES-EC has been trying to create an environment that fosters uninhibited expression of thoughts and ideas and has successfully achieved this endeavour. The society is not only an integral part of the college’s semblance but has also become the choice of many students due to its crisp yet comfortable working environment that brings out the best in each of its members.
Minerva’s aim is to provide a platform to the students to showcase their creative side, enhance their social skills and to embed a professional behaviour in them.

Every year, in month of August, the Club circulates the volunteer forms for the new members. Similarly, a separate form for becoming a team member is floated. Club faculty team invites all the students who give consent for the team members on various positions and conducts an interview session. Based on the interview, judges nominate the club team for the next session. The nomination of the club team is with the consent of previous club student head, secretory and joint secretory.
This event is conducted in order to make the students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year aware of the placement scenario in the real world and to provide hands on experience on Aptitude, Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds of a placement drive.
