Institution’s Innovation Council (IICs)

‘MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC) has been established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, to systematically foster the culture of Innovation among all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). MIC is formed to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes while they are in formative years.

MIC has envisioned encouraging creation of ‘Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) across selected HEIs to promote innovation in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation promotion eco-system.

ABESEC holds 4.5 star rating certificate by Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India to promote Innovation and Start-up in campus during the IIC calendar year 2019-20.

Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA)

Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) is an initiative of Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions and universities in India on indicators related to “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development” amongst students and faculties. ARIIA ranking inspires the Indian institutions to reorient their mind-set and build ecosystems to encourage high quality research, innovation and entrepreneurship. ARIIA has focus on quality of innovations and it measures the real impact created by these innovations nationally and internationally.
