About Club

EIn ABES Engineering College, there is a team of 100+ volunteers who encourages other students to participate in NSS activities. There are many events and occasions when Government bodies like AICTE, GDA, UP govt. Organize events and call colleges to participate. Our college is one of the most active colleges in the region who participates with full enthusiasm and spirit. The events are:

All these events and activities help students to be a good citizen of India. Every year, active participants and volunteers get appreciation certificates and goodies from the college management side.

OBJECTIVE

The club aims to inculcate social welfare in students, and to provide service to society without bias. NSS volunteers work to ensure that everyone who is needy gets help to enhance their standard of living and lead a life of dignity. In doing so, volunteers learn from people in villages how to lead a good life despite a scarcity of resources. it also provides help in natural and man-made disasters by providing food, clothing and first aid to the disaster victims.

How to become a club member?

Every year, in month of August, the Club circulates the volunteer forms for the new members. Similarly, a separate form for becoming a team member is floated. Club faculty team invites all the students who give consent for the team members on various positions and conducts an interview session. Based on the interview, judges nominate the club team for the next session. The nomination of the club team is with the consent of previous club student head, secretory and joint secretory.
