Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan at ABESEC is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India.
Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan Wing at ABESEC College was established on 2nd Oct. 2018 and it has constituted its organized structure. ABESEC has adopted 5 villages named as ‘Kushaliya, Kanauja, Matiala, Masuri and Mohiddinpur-Dabarasi’. Students of various technical domains along with their faculty mentors have visited these villages initially to complete the survey under predefined agenda. The survey was inclined as per structured format given by IIT-Delhi.
For its remarkable activities of UBA-ABESEC, honorable VC-AKTU honored ABES for excellence award. UBA wing distributed the ration-kits to 50 families under ‘Koi bhukha na soye Abhiyaan’ in pandemic lockdown time. UBA team members and volunteers have attended several webinars and workshops to make them aware on the area of rural upliftment. UBA wing has also conducted online webinars on NEP awareness, Corona safety, and invited speakers from IIT-Delhi and Ghaziabad district administration for informing national and district societal activities for rural upliftment. UBA is also working on 3 funded projects sponsored by IIT-Delhi.
VC-AKTU has nominated ABESEC as the nodal center for ‘Youth Skill Development Program’ to conduct the training for employability enhancement of rural youths. In this respect, UBA team is organizing various twenty-hour modular training programs by experts, each of 5 days in different fields like Lathe, Solar panel installation, CNC, Welding, AutoCAD, Automobile service center and office executive. The youths of nearby region and adopted villages are taking benefits of these programs.
