Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering conducted a webinar talk on "Search for Happiness" on 28/08/2021 which was jointly organized by Spirituality & Yoga Society on Google Meet and the speaker was Prof. (Dr.) Hariom Upadhyay. The speaker enlightened the audience about happiness, what real happiness is and how one can achieve real happiness by connecting to God.
50+ students, faculty members attended the Program. Dr. Vineet Kr. Sr. scientist from FRI Dehradun, Ms. Sheelu Sagar from Amity Univ. Noida also attended the session.

Many programs are being planned under YSDP
The names of these programs are: - AutoCAD, Welding, CNC, Lathe, Solar Panel Installation, Automobile Service Center, Office Executive Women Self Entrepreneurship Development and Office Executive Work.
The YSDP-2021 was held as per following schedule

AutoCAD's full name is "Automatic Computer Aided Design", software that is mainly used in 2D and 3D designing of machines and equipment. In particular, this software is used for building plans, architecture design, construction and manufacturing.
The above training program was affiliated under the self-reliant Bharat Abhiyaan (Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Abdul Kalam Technical University, Ghaziabad Development Authority, I-Nurture & NIRF). Prof. Rajendra Shukla, Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Ravi Shankar Raman, Workshop incharge, Instructor Harish Kumar, Mr. Rohit Rastogi (UBA Nodal Officer), Dr. Yash Veer Singh, Dr. Ajay Singh, Mr. Tarun Sharma, Mr. Sandeep Tripathi and Mr. Ravindra Kumar were special contributors in the event.
He also informed about Tika-Utsav run by central Govt. of India. A Tika-Utsav or vaccine festival will be marked in the country from today till April 14, 2021. At the behest of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi with an aim to inoculate a maximum no. of eligible people against the Sars-Cov’19 amid a surge in cases. Several states such as Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are gearing up with appeals being made to eligible people to get them vaccinated during the duration of the Tika-Utsav. Webinar ended with series of Q&A session.

In this 5-day training program (Office Executive Work), all the participants were trained on MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point. Apart from this, all the participants were trained with great depth about hardware, software, operating systems and computer equipments so that, users and applicants can use this modern software in the right way. After this, all the participants visited the library of ABES Engineering College to get information about E-learning and ABESEC incubator cell for getting entrepreneurship insights.

In this 5-day training program (CNC), all the participants were made to study CNC. All the participants were trained with great depth about the operations on the CNC machine and the initial information and part programming of the machine, so that users and applicants can use these modern CNC machines.

In the 5 days program, the various sub-systems of an automobile were discussed in detail with emphasis on service and maintenance of a vehicle. Hands-on trainings were imparted to the participants on engine assembly/disassembly, transmission set up and hydraulic braking bench. The participants were taken for a visit to the E-cell and various departmental facilities.

Objectives of vaccine awareness webinar were to

• Ensure that all eligible groups receive the vaccine with confidence.
• All the people get correct information and are not influenced by Mis information and myths.
• Hesitancy of public is addressed on the covid-19 vaccination process.
• Provide correct, consistent and timely information on the new covid-19
• Vaccine(s), (availability, safety and timelines) and vaccination processes.

Target audiences of this webinar were adopted village VDO, Pradhan, staff members, kids of primary schools and villagers. Speaker of the session, Mr. Ankur Sharma discussed the scope of topic by talking on Vaccines in India! Russia’s covid vaccine sputnik V, Covaxin-India and COvishield –India.
He addressed participants on diagnosis and treatment and informed that there is no specific treatment of Covid’19. Mild symptoms can be treated at home with medicines to lower the fever or relieve pain. If symptoms are more severe, treatment in hospital is required.
