Three Students of UBA team Mr. Saurabh Tripathi, Mr. Tarun Mittal and Mr. Akhand Pratap Singh and Nodal Officer of UBA-ABESEC, Mr. Rohit Rastogi visited IIT-Delhi Campus. The UBA-ABESEC was among 86 PI (Participating institutes) all over the India. The Team represented its structure, working methodology and future plans before IIT-D officials. The Participants were addressed by Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan National Coordinators and Lieutenant Colonel Mr. Rajiv Bansal from AICTE on “Facilitating UBA by AICTE” and Dr. (Mrs.) Neetu Bhagat of AICTE on “AICTE initiatives in Education Policy and Internship Program” with making UBA-2.0 mandatory to all Institutes with 2000+ students.

To better understand the rural technologies and ways in which these are implemented and to understand their effectiveness, 18 members of UBA-ABESEC Team visited Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Shantikunj, Haridwar. The Youth cell of Shantikunj Haridwar and coordinator, Sh. KP Dubey addressed the team and felicitated the exploration of Rural cell of DSVV campus. Students learned many new ways of artisans and industry related livelihood schemes and possible trainings in adopted villages among ladies and unemployed youths.
