In schools we see dreams but college is the place which helps us make them come true. Here in ABES, my childhood dream of becoming a defense officer became a reality. You may think how an engineering college would help someone become an officer in the defense services, but let me tell you ABES is not just a college which focuses on academic excellence but it thrives for achieving overall development of its students. The CCPD program of ABES helped me to boost my confidence, the NSS club activities organized various camps like cloth donation, blood donation, etc. which enhanced my leadership qualities. The annual fest 'GENERO' provided me the platform to handle and manage various public affairs & problems, the sports event helped me in excel in various sports and games, this list of activities can go on and on. The professors and the mechanical engineering department of this college have been the most amazing part of my college life as they have always supported me in every possible way that they could, helping me balance my academics and my passion. What else would you require if you have your college as your companion in your struggle.
My undergraduate years at ABES were among the most formative years with respect to my career in research. I was in the ME department of the college and the department is quite conducive for research, with the faculty’s emphasis on doing research based projects and publications. The ME department at ABES has very supportive teachers and I was fortunate to have worked with Dr. R.K. Shukla, Mr. Animesh Kumar, Mr. Shailendra Singh and others. The teachers here push you to think deeply and especially, the final year project pedagogy involving periodic presentations and discussions provides a steep learning curve, which helps in building a strong background. My experiences here laid the foundation for my interests and gave me a head start in my career.
My life in ABES started with my meeting with director sir. I was getting electronics stream, but I wanted mechanical stream. Director sir took my interview in which he was not impressed, but some how I got Mechanical branch. Then I joined College. Many students were involved in different project but I wasn't aware what I have to do in life. Then in 6th semester I decided I have to give GATE exam and get into PSU's. When I told my ambition to my family. They were also not impressed with that idea. Whether I will be able to do or not. I used to study most of the time in library in my final year and noticed that there few students which were studying upto late evening so I just want to say you firstly keep confidence in what you feel is good for you and secondly don't over estimate the crowd. On two occasions I didn't changed my decisions, first was to choose mechanical stream and second was to choose GATE as my gateway to success. In GATE 2020 I got AIR43 A big thank to all my ABES faculties for being part of my success.

I am Arpit Kansal 2017 batch pass out of Mechanical Engineering, proud to be associated with ABES. Immeasurable quantity of technical knowledge & values instilled in us by the ABES carved me a better individual and made me to get placed in Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. All the faculty members are very cooperative and they groom our skills with their immense knowledge & incredible support. I am very thankful to the faculty members & seniors for their guidance during our projects and to the CCPD Team for developing Communication and professional skills. Apart from this, I was exposed to extensive co-curricular activities like college festivals and most importantly to the competitive Go-kart Racing teams. At GKDC Race, the college Go-Kart team & I witnessed an incredible transformation of a studious boy to an accomplished engineer. These teams taught us how engineering is actually used in a practical setting and these competitive teams was a platform to acquire skills that have extensively helped me in my career. I am thankful to ABES Family for all this value addition in me.

My name is Sarabjeet Singh (2008-12 Mechanical batch) and I am honoured to mention that I lived best days of my academic/Student life at Vishwakarma block studying Mechanical engineering. Faculty here is very helping and knowledgeable in teaching you the concepts of mechanical engineering in practical and simplest way possible for learning and for your future growth professionally. After graduating from ABES I got placed at Sriram Daurala sugar mills Meerut as Boiler maintenance Engineer Trainee through ABES placement cell, after working there for some time I moved to Australia & completed my masters in advanced manufacturing and now I am working as a Quality Assurance Engineer in Quality Control department at AW BELL PVT LTD, one of the leading aerospace company in Australia. Honestly speaking theoretical and practical knowledge gained at ABES is helping me to excel everyday at my workplace to achieve greater heights in the field I am working.
College life ought to be paramount for all student and I’m lucky that my college is able to do so, whether it was about friends, professors, or growth of life. Faculties are very supportive, they are not static to their respective fields. My experience in college has given me a chance to sharpen my skills in my field of choice as in addition to learn practical and theoretical skills I’ve also gone out of the box during my college projects. Strictness in attendance and grades were always a burden on my heart but it helped me a lot to improve my life structure especially during my job. Placements are now a very short step to climb for ABES as we were not tied to our stream organization yet a large number of us have additionally accomplished our dream company.
Immeasurable amount of knowledge and values instilled in us by ABES Engineering College carved me into a better individual and has a strong part to play in my current standing in society. I am proud to be associated with Tata Group which was a result of college placements, thanks to the Training & Placement department of our college. The placement training incorporated a very useful curriculum. Clearly, this would not have been possible without academic achievements for which I ought to thank my faculty members, who were very cooperative and groomed our skills with their immense knowledge and incredible guidance. I wholeheartedly thank my faculties, for the unconditional and best possible support to us and will be forever indebted for the same.
Excelsioris one of the many words which can describe my feeling towards ABES Engineering College for giving me multi-dimensional learning by providing the apt mix of academics, Industrial exposure, attitude and Leadership. Faculties who are the backbone of our institute are very cordial and expert in their respective fields and have played the role of “Guru Dronacharya” in my career. Departmental projects helped me to bridge the gap between the classroom teachings and its practical applications. Mechanical Engineering labs are well equipped for the hands-on experience of your Text-Book concepts. Seniors, batchmates as well as juniors were like a family away from family and that bond will be irreplaceable forever. The time spent here was splendid and has helped me to grow not only professionally but also personally. I would like to thank ABES and entire Mechanical Engineering Dept. faculty and staff for making me a “Better Person”.
One might refer to a qualified mechanical engineer as a king of all branches, and those in the engineering sector often do. If you find yourself understanding the technical prospects of the world, mechanical engineering is definitely for you. Mechanical Engineering Dept at ABES gave us plenty of opportunity to show our talent and perform technical know-how of the subject. The greatest example of this was BAJA SAE INDIA. And this feat was not possible without our Gurus. Because as they say गुरुरब्रह्मागुरुरविष्णुगुरुरदेवोमहेश्वरः l *Casting* the world, *Forging* the campus, *Shaping* the universe, *Welding* the rest of all branches, this what engineering will teach you and this is something we've got to learn at ABES. I on behalf of Mechanical Engineering Class of 2009 thank each and every person of the department who were directly or indirectly showed us the way to a bright and promising future.
Everytime I think of my college and college life it makes me realize that what I am today was shaped by my college. Yes, I work as an actor but it was made possible by the holistic ambience that I was given by the college management and faculties. For me, college is not just defined by the buildings and the playground but the people who groomed me to reach my potential.
