The inception year of the department is 2000. Eighteen batches of students have passed (Graduated) till the academic session 2021.

The students take up their academics for two semesters from the department of ASH and move to their core engineering departments from where they graduate.

The department sponsors the name of subject toppers & university rank holders to the central committee. The award policy is decided at the central level.

The department of ASH builds the foundation for the engineering students. The students opt for jobs as per their suitability from their core departments.

The department of ASH prepares the students for their engineering pursuit and professional attitude.The students explore the interdisciplinary areas for their future prospects during their academic pursuits in their core departments.

Of late the students are being facilitated for summer internship programs as per the need of the industries.

The department of ASH provides necessary information and encourage the students for pursuing higher studies during the orientation –cum-induction program.

The department of ASH has coordinator ship system (mentor-mentee) who are associated with the academics and holistic development of the students.

The department of ASH through the Class Coordinators (mentor-mentee) encourage and support the students to attend seminars, conferences, workshops and publish research papers and articles so as to explore knowledge, understand latest technological innovations and application of new technologies.

The department has setup a grievance & counselling committee where the grievance of the students is redressed and counselling is provided as per the demand.
