National Award of Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj Kumar Sharma - Hod CS

Dr. Pankaj Sharma (Professor & Head, CS Department) had been awarded as Teacher’s Excellence Award 2014 by the Confederation of Education Excellence, Delhi, as a part of Teacher’s Day celebration in the country, organized Teacher’s Excellence Awards in Crowne Plaza, Delhi, on 6th September 2014. Around 258 applications from all over India out of which only 70 candidates were selected for this prestigious award with an aim of rewarding and appreciating good work done by Teachers from various School, Colleges and Institutions from all over the Country. It was a real honor and pleasure for me to hear Professor Yashpal Singh who graced the occasion as Chief Guest among Chancellor, Vice Chancellor of various Universities.

The special occasion was graced by the august presence of a host of dignitaries like Dr. R.K. Khandal- the Vice Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, Dr.R.P. Dahiya- the Vice Chancellor of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal (Sonepat), Mr. Jaikant Singh- the Head-partnership from National Skill Development Corporation, Dr. Pyare Lal Kadalbaju- Former Registrar of Jamia Hamdard and Joint Registrar, University of Delhi. The International Personalities who shared the dais with national educationists were His Excellency Mr. Miloslav Stasek- the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to India, Mr. Gustavo Makanaky Cordoba counselor for Economics and Cooperation from Embassy of Colombia to India. It was hearting to hear these speakers throw a wonderful insight about educational standards during Vedic Age and Modern Age.

• Director’s Award for Long, Active & Continuous Service given by the Director of ABES Engineering College , Ghaziabad 5TH September 2011.
