We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us-Winston Churchill
A country is known for its efficient transportation system, functionally improved nature conserving buildings, nature-friendly waste disposal techniques, water quality & air quality, irrigation systems, etc... The role of a Civil Engineer has always been a vital part for the development of the country which is being fulfilled by opting Civil engineering as a passion, pursued rigorously throughout life.
Civil Engineering not only tells us how to deal with the construction problems but it also tells how to deal with the different stakeholders involved in a project. The country is looking forward toward infrastructural development and to fit-in in this challenge a Civil Engineering graduate must equip him/herself with the requisite knowledge.
Humanity takes shape with the kind of infrastructure it has, therefore, the bottom-line message to upcoming young engineers is “You can be a good Civil Engineer but cannot be a true Civil Engineer unless you are instilled with ethical and moral values."
