About Club

Environ Club is a step towards Greener and Healthier environment in college. A platform where students use their knowledge to tackle environmental issues and learn about the environment from the environment.

OBJECTIVE

The aim of our Club is to promote awareness and involve them to preserve environment. The Club aims to create clean and green consciousness among students through various innovative method.

How to become a club member?

Every year, in month of August, the Club circulates the volunteer forms for the new members. Similarly, a separate form for becoming a team member is floated. Club faculty team invites all the students who give consent for the team members on various positions and conducts an interview session. Based on the interview, judges nominate the club team for the next session. The nomination of the club team is with the consent of previous club student head, secretory and joint secretory.

Major Events

A Guest Lecture by “Dr.Rajendra Singh Ji”, ‘Water Man of India’ on “Water Conservation”:-

Dr. Rajendra Singh Ji, recipient of Ramson Magsaysay Award, Stockholm Water Prize-Noble Prize for Water and many more, informed students regarding the revival techniques adopted by him to give new life to rivers. He told students how can they work to tackle the upcoming water crisis in World. He emphasized that it is the need of the hour that every person should contribute in saving water. Dr. Rajendra Singh Ji’s lecture show a path that how can water crisis be met in Delhi-NCR.

Seminar on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan under the guidance of Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, Ghaziabad

Environ Club has conducted a Seminar based on "Swachh Bharat Mission" under the guidance of Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, Ghaziabad.

Mr. Manoj Sharma and Mr. Sanjay Vyas from the Ghaziabad Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, were the Guest of Honour. This seminar was basically organized by the government to get a feedback on Swachh Bharat Mission. In this seminar, the Students were asked to download an app named “ SSG 2019” . Upon installation, the app asked about the city for which feedback had to be submitted. It was followed by 4 questions which were related to the Swachh Bharat Mission and how it has affected the area of city in the past one year.

Best Clean Department by Hi-Tech Seva Campaign by AICTE

The inspection was conducted by our Faculty Team to check the cleanliness and hygienic method by various department."Department of Master of Computer Application" is selected as the "BESTCLEAN DEPARTMENT of ABESEC." The responsive attitude of our Students regarding the Cleanliness of their Surroundings in their respective Department is appreciable.

Plantation Drive by Jal Shakti Mantralaya

Environ club has planted around 40 plants in the Campus on the occasion of 'Jal Shakti Abhiyaan' on 22nd July,2019. Students participated and conducted the event enthusiastically.The Clubalways strives to make the ABESians sensitive and aware towards environment. With the noble mission of making our city green and serene, we participated in this.

Debate and Poetry Competition by Environ Club:-

An event was the perfect blend of hard work and team work and so the event was successfully conducted. All the participants spoke their heart out. Their views on the nature won the heart of audience.
