Eligibility
DIRECT ADMISSION
(As per the UPTAC information Brochure published by AKTU for the Session 2026-27, it is
subject to the change as per the further notification of AKTU for the session 2026-27)
B.Tech (1st Year)
4 Years
-
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/
Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational
subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship as per
table 1.3(a) – Annexure 1 (copy
enclosed)
-
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)
in the above subjects taken together.
OR
-
Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
-
The University will offer suitable bridge courses (such as Mathematics, Physics,
Engineering drawing, etc.), for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare
Level
playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme.
B.Tech Lateral Entry (2nd Year)
3 Years
- Passed Minimum 3 years / 2 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category)
in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture) from the institution recognized by BTEUP or equivalent.
OR
-
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category)
and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. Will be allotted if seats remain vacant after allotment to Diploma Students.
OR
-
Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector from the institution recognized by BTEUP or equivalent.
M.Tech (1st Year)
2 Years
-
Passed Bachelor'’'s Degree or equivalent
Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates
belonging
to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
MCA (1st Year)
2 Years
-
Passed B.C.A/ B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE)/ B.Tech. (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree.
OR
-
Passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc / B.Com. / B.A./ B. Voc./ etc.,) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at
Graduation level Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
COUNSELING As per AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2026-27

Entrance Examination JEE Mains (Current Year) /NTA and
eligibility as mentioned above conditions of Counseling.
Secondly, by the merit of the candidates in qualifying examinations
as per the eligibility criteria as mentioned above conditions of the
Counseling.

Accommodation Terms and Conditions:
- Room allotment will be made on a First-Come, First-Serve basis.
- Air-conditioned (AC) rooms will be allotted only upon full occupancy of the designated room.
- AC usage is permitted from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM on working days, and round-the-clock on holidays, subject to the availability of commercial power supply from UPPCL.
- The use of desert coolers is strictly prohibited in the Girls’ Hostel. In the Boys’ Hostel, desert coolers may be used in accordance with college policy.
- Limited rooms with attached bathrooms are available at an additional charge of ₹10,000, to be shared equally among roommates.

Restricted Payment Conditions
- Cheques and cash payments are not accepted for Academic Fees.
- As per current income tax regulations, any fee deposited in cash directly at the bank will incur a penalty of ₹10,000. Additionally, the amount deposited in cash will only be refunded after the due fee is paid through a Demand Draft (DD).

Refund Policy for Newly Admitted Students of Session 2026-27
In case of cancellation of admission, fee will be refunded as per UGC refund
rules.
Refund-Policy 2026-27
In case of withdrawal from hostel, only Security, Mess & laundry charges (for unutilized months) are
refundable on a pro rata basis.
