1. The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering in association with the ORBITS is pleased to announce that a MoU has signed between ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad, and Mitzvah on 04th March 2024.

2. Collaboration for mutual benefits, to enhance the quality of the educational experience of students of the partner by offering online training and internships. To get consultancy projects over the real time problems faced by the industry.

The partner shall provide the requisite infrastructure, network, internet access, Local Accommodations/food/transport to the trainers and any other facility required for the On-campus training.

Trainings will be planned as per schedule mutually agreed upon by both the parties. The techno-commercial proposal for any project will be shared separately and will be granted on mutual consent of the parties.

Lecture cum industrial visit at Sofcon India Pvt. Ltd., Noida
The Department of EN and ELCE at ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad, organized a lecture and industrial visit to Sofcon India Pvt. Ltd., Noida for EN-3rd Year students on April 16, 2024. The visit provided students with practical exposure to industrial automation technologies like PLC, SCADA, and VFD through hands-on sessions. Additionally, interactions with industry experts offered insights into industry-institution relationships, internship opportunities, and placement criteria, making it an enriching experience for the students.
Industrial visit at Deki Electronics
Lecture cum industrial visit at Deki Electronics, Noida
On January 19, 2024, the EN Department organized a lecture and industrial visit to Deki Electronics, Noida, as part of the 'Industrial Automation' training for 2nd-year EN and ECE students. This visit aimed to provide industrial exposure and practical knowledge. Students learned about the operation and maintenance of film capacitors controlled by programming logic controllers, the importance of safety, how products are interfaced globally, and gained insights into the industry-institution relationship and internship and placement criteria.

Alumni interaction under the ‘Placement Readiness Series’
On April 20, 2024, the Department of EN and ELCE held an Alumni interaction under the 'Placement Readiness Series' for the 2020-2024 batch eligible for TCSNQT. Topics covered included developing a strategic approach for the company, understanding the Tata Consultancy Service interview process, effectively presenting project work and internships during interviews, and discussing the TCSNQT exam paper pattern.

The Department of Electrical & Electronics at ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad, successfully conducted an expert talk on "IPR" on April 30, 2024. Mrs. Somya Kaushik, Associate Vice President at ELPIS Analytix, delivered an informative and interactive session for 3rd-year EN students. The talk covered the importance of Intellectual Property Rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, emphasizing their role in protecting innovation, fostering creativity, and encouraging economic growth.
